I have an Alpine INE W940E unit in my Subaru and I am at a loss how to adjust the picture quality of the reverse camera. The options are shown under the "General" menu but are not active. In other words, I can see the Brightness, Contrast etc, but they are "greyed out". I thought it might be an issue with the parking brake signal wire, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Something I noticed that I thought was odd, was the park brake wire (yellow and blue) from the head unit, is earthed through a relay and it uses a blue and white wire (also from the head unit) as the switching signal. I earthed the park brake wire directly but no difference.
Any ideas?
