Computer building, I am

You in no way shape or form need a 5950x to do what you do lol. If you want overkill get a 5900, for half the price of that 5950x, and still 4x more processor than you need. 5900x is easily capable of multiple simultaneous 8k video editing. 5950x puts many threadrippers to shame, and is honestly capable of running high in centralized computer system master servers.

I plan to get into some serious stuff. Possibly some serious 3d creation. I'll see how the 3800xt does, not a big deal.

Told ya it would drop those temps by quite a bit. And yeah quite a few people now let it sit for a few days. I spread paste by using my finger and never once did I have a spot where it wasn't covered. Been doing that way forever. Where as if I just used a nice size drop of it there was bare spots on the cpu. A small thin layer is all you need, too much is not good. The MX-4 is not conductive which is one reason why I have used it since it came out. That is one thing like you said LS you gotta watch otherwise you end up with issues. That Arctic Cleaner and Purifier works awesome. Ever since they came out with it I have been using it. Well worth what the 8-12 bucks it costs and lasts a long time. I have gone through 3 sets of it but that is because I have done who knows how many computers using those sets.

I used that little spreader that came with the MX-4, I spread it well and did it across multiple directions.

I do the pea sized paste method my CPU hovers around 40 C just being on the Internet. I optimized my fans under the bios but I set the curve thing to standard they will will work harder as my computer needs it. I have a h100i AIO

Mine idles at 32-34C with just the Ryzen Master open. I also have 8 140 mm case fans, a PCH fan and 3 GPU fans built in lol.

Office is INSTALLED!!! WOOT WOOT

Well, @LsGuy, I downloaded the 5700 gpu drivers again, and it didn't bone me as hard. Still doesn't look as good as whatever came with the hardware. I honestly think it's just my very limited TV that may be causing the issue. It's only 1360 x 768, and I swear it looks like it's trying to fit multiple pixels into one TV pixel, like the pixels are stacked or overlayed or something. I have a new monitor on the way so I'll try it again once I get the monitor in.
