Computer building, I am

Tbh that don't look all that bad on the cooler. Seen a lot worse!

Yeah, it's just bc copper is soft and it's a lot of pressure, I'm not concerned at all. It's just on the edge where I have to hinge that cooler in and make it reach the other clip. That cooler just connects in 2 places, the hinged AMD cooler setup, it's not the 4 screws.

Not a problem. We all had to learn at some point. I just got lucky with learning from the time I was 10 is all and started with the old stuff in 1986. So I definitely had an advantage that most didn't. Even in middle school throughout high school not many people had computers in my school. So whenever I would type up a report or assignment I would always get the you didn't do this crap from my teachers. Last time when was the English teacher who hated my guts tried to have me expelled 2 days before graduation ceremonies because I used a computer and typed everything up. And because I put a , instead of a ; along with I put the name wrong in one spot of a source I used by one spot. My parents had to bring in our lawyer in order to get them to stand down. Lets just say the lawyer pointed to them straight out he had proof I did it, could type 60-70 wpm, that I had been building computers and doing computer work with my dad at that point for 8 years. And that if they wanted to get really serious about this that he would be filing a multi-million dollar lawsuit over libel, slander and w/e he could come up with. He would own that school by the time he was done. Plus the lawyer we used and still use...Lets just say when he walks into the Courtrooms in the Chicago area the Judges go "Ah shit not him!" lol. His dad used to represent my GPA when GPA worked for Capone running beer throughout the area. Every time ole GPA got caught he would call him out and be out of there within a few minutes.

I manually spread the paste fairly evenly, with a relatively thin layer, then I kind of pushed some in off the edge and put it down way better this time, that clamp bracket loosened up some, so it wasn't a pita to snap the ring in that I tighten down. I didn't take a pic of the paste because I wanted to get it on there before it started setting. I'm looking at the CPU and cooler with a dentist-like mirror thing. There's a hair of paste that squeezed out, but it's just stuck to the copper of the cooler, not dripping down the sides or anything. Kind of like if you squeezed a cheese sandwich, the paste just barely popped out a hair, but no drooping. I'll see if I can take a pic, it's tight down there, like she said.

I use my finger when putting that paste on. It takes some time to setup. You can run it though after it setups for a couple hours. I've even started them up within a hour but now I am just like eh screw it like I have anything important to do so it can setup properly
