Computer building, I am

Ugh thanks USPS. Now you're still 2 days late. She's just sitting here, waiting for an OS. Waiting for me to get nasty with designing. My old i5 PC can't have 3 sketchups and excel and the forums and other websites and itunes and youtube all open at once, not very well at least.

My OS was supposed to be here today. Idk if it will, because it's being shipped by USPS.
Have you tried any of the LINUX distributions? I run LINUX on some of my computers, and also run Libre Office. And the prices are great. Many are free.

Microsoft open-sourced some of its code, including the NET Framework and Visual Studio Code, and made investments in Linux development, server technology, and organizations, including the Linux Foundation and Open Source Initiative. ... Microsoft is among the site's most active contributors.

I'm gonna game on it too.

Most motherboards and memory these days have XMP built in so if you turn on XMP it should auto increase the memory speeds. Motherboards have had this for the past 3-5 years depending on the maker of it.

You're on liquid... How hot is it in your house that your CPU is at 40c on liquid. I am on air, 73f in the house and I am sitting at 30c on the CPU while surfing the web, being on this site and playing a movie on my TV via my other output on my graphics card.

On liquid as well for the CPU and its 71 in here because the heat is on well because I live in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, lol. But my GPU is at 68 C because I have Cyberpunk 2077 running in the background right now. Too lazy to go and check the CPU but I know with the paste I use which isn't the stuff the cooler comes with it drops the temps by at least 8-10 degrees C.

The stuff I am using is below but I have also used the other stuff linked below with great results throughout the years.

Anyways for some reason it won't just pop up but I am using Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut and the other stuff is Arctic MX-4

Edit: I even used Thermal Grizzly pads on my PS4 when I redid the paste and pads on it. I used their cheaper paste for the PS4 but the cooling was significant compared to the stock junk white paste that was on there.

I use MX-4 and a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO. I ask cause that Fractal cooler is actually pretty good so I am concerned it may not be even on the CPU surface.

I personally use Corsair but yeah that concerned me as well. But I "think" he was just using the thermal paste it came with which would explain it as well. Fractal has been making some nice coolers for years, even thinking about looking at them for my new build next year when I do a 11th Gen Intel with a 3070, sitting on a I5-8600K with a 2070 Super right now. Both of those that I linked worked great. MX-4 Has been great for years. I just switched to the Thermal for this PC build and I like it as well but for the money MX-4 can't really be topped and you get a ton of it for the price from amazon or newegg. Plus it lasts around 3-5 years depending on what batch you get.

It's on there man. It's not cool in my room, I leave my window open in FL, plus I'm on the sunny side of my house so it's always hotter. It's probably high 70's in my room, if not 80. My neurological problems mean I can't get too cold, or I shake uncontrollably.

I mean that thing is on there. One thing that it might be is I have the AIO pump turned down (it's on auto mode being controlled by the actual cooler itself right now). It's only running 1/4-1/3 speed or so. The cooler completely left thermal paste on the top before I even tightened it down at all, like before I even hooked the ring into the clip. It was a b*tch to get that ring around the hook. It's 39 degree celcius right when it turns on. As quickly as I turn it on and can get to the menu, it's at that temp.

If there was a problem, it would be their thermal paste, I would think. It's just what came pre-applied on the cooler block.
