Decent, crisp, punchy 6x9s, running off 75w rms?

I’m trying to set up a budget system in my Prelude...nothing crazy, but I would like it to sound good.
What I already have: a low dollar pioneer double din, which I’m thinking about replacing, because it only has two pre outs, I would prefer front, rear, and sub outs, plus I would like to upgrade to 4 or 5 volt pre outs, so if anyone could suggest a good model, please let me know.
I also have some old, but nice Boston 6 1/2 coaxial in the doors, 1 Alpine type R 12” first gen, (dual 4olhm Vc) running off an Alpine mvr 500.1
The 6x9s are stock.
I just picked up a very lightly used JL audio JX 400/4 D....and need 6x9s!
I have no idea where to even turn, because my go to speaker company, is now only into home audio......damn you Boston Acoustics!!!!!
With so much crap out there in today’s market, I don't want make a mistake! I’ve had a set of Memphis 6x9s, and I thought they were pretty nice, and I’ve also had the expensive pioneers, which were also nice, but I think the Memphis had better sound quality. I’ve also had old school Diamond Audio separates that we’re sweet, but how do they stack up now?
I’ve also had a set of MB Quart a axel 6.5s that didn’t last a month....pretty expensive for complete garbage!
To be clear, I don’t want Rockford Fosgate, or Kicker crap!
I’ve had several amps, and speakers from both manufacturers.....utter disappointment!

Just for a bit of history, I have been installing systems since I was a kid...I have had everything from mild, to insane, but I’ve been out of the game for a bit...now I’ve caught the bug again!
I still remember when I first installed my system in my old 1980 Chevy Malibu...I bought a Soundstream Reference 705, two Soundstream spl 15s a set of Boston pro 6.5s, and the expensive old school pioneer 6x9s (the ones with the big magnet) in 6x9 enclosures....I haven’t heard a system like that Ever! I was blown away by how much air those spls could push...it was amazing! It was also amazing how clean the Reference 705 was.

Not really big on recommending brands so I'll leave that to someone else. Can't remember the last time I recommended 6x9s period. What year Prelude, I had an old ass one years ago. Also anything but Memphis I hate that company like some of y'all hate Kicker and RF. Both which I actually like.

Like I said, I’ve been out of the game for a bit. I bought those Memphis 6x9s almost 20 years ago from a pawn shop...they may not be what they once were...I dunno....that’s why I’m here.

id bridge the JL amp and get a good set of comps up front, and get a new deck

forget rears. they usually only screw up the sq

I was kind of curious about Kappas, or Polks...I know they are built in the same factory.
I have previously owned two Kappa perfect 12s, and I liked them a bunch. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm a hardcore Boston Acoustics guy, I know the frustration related to them pulling out of car audio. Imo Infinity's Kappa line is the next best comparable product. Image Dynamics is up there too but the price tag jumps compared the Infinitis

I’ve may have a lead on some Boston SL60s, If I get them, I’m gonna do some fabrication, to turn my 6x9 holes to 6.5s, and put the Boston rally’s in the back...that may be the better route, then just getting 6x9s and rolling with it. Front stage is important, for SQ.

I’m drinking the kool aid big time right now because I recently made the switch to active. Get a better hu with three sets of rcas and run a 4 Channel to tweeters in front and mid drivers on the rear channels. Forget that 6x9 location all together. A loud and clear front stage with decent mid bass (door treatment) and the close proximity to the Sub stage will be a significant improvement. My buddy did this to his prelude in college. I had no clue what active was at the time and was blown away with his “secret” on how much better his front stage sounded than my overpriced Comp passive Comp set with rear door Coaxials.

I bought the Boston SL60s

Hi, everybody. I'm looking for some suggestions for a double-din head unit that runs Android on the head unit itself, such that I can load apps...
