Hey guys,

Just posting up some plans for my enclosure build for the 15" TC-3000 on it's way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

how the hell do you calculate that internal volume of something like that!?

Using sketch up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif you just highlight the area that the port doesn't cover and then multiply that by the height and you get the airspace left for the submoofer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

And I forgot to mention the front face will have another layer outside of that to countersink the sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

 
I can't imagine its necessary for you to have made it so complicated, there are empty spaces, why?

imo you'd be better off redesigning the port more properly/linearly, though it does look crazy

Because //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif And if I were to fill the empty spaces with the port and redesign it the airspace would increase and Id really like to keep it at around 4 cubes for the sub...

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
