Put it this way...I had the 04 xxx in a nolteaudio snail shell designed specifically for the xxx with 2200 watts...and i put the uber (3hp motor) in that box with half the power..and it is noticeably louder and sounds better. Now the LMS-5400 has the 4hp motor...you do the math

May be difficult to build a proper enclosure for, and oh yeah its 1000 bucks for a single driver

LMS5400 is a rather non-sensical design and way too expensive. I vote for the Q 15's.

Giving subs more power really wakes them up.

JL RD1500.1 does rated power @1 or 2 ohms, Does 1800 to 1900 watts in tests I've seen..
