TC LMS-4000>tc-3000

As most of you know my tc-3000 broke for the second time and tc offered me a new replacement top assembly. I told them that i didnt want it. So instead they offered me a 15" lms-4000 to replace my 3000. So i could take that or i could get a refund for my sub. I was thinking about takin the LMS because i have always wanted one and the sub retails for 600 bucks http://tcsounds.com/lms4000.htm. there is a link to the sub. What would you guys rec. i do?

Personally the way TC handles themselves, I would get as far away from them as I could.

Im running an Eclipse SW8200, which uses the same voice coil (im pretty sure), and it is one **** good sounding woofer.

I imagine the LMS 4000 would sound even better (at least i would hope for the price difference)

Why not ask for a non-aluminum cone? Wasn't that the problem?

Last I heard that problem was address with thicker cones.

TC has absolutly great customer service. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Always answer email promptly and answer question honestly not just what you wanna hear. AND I WILL NEVER GET AN FI EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as you can see this guy is getting great customer service, and getting a sub worth 200$ more than his previous, to me that sounds like good customer service.....

I would suspect something if they fell apart.
