Zero midbass....suggestions?

I recently put this system together in my Accura 96 and its really lacking in the midbass area. Any suggestions?

Doors dead? Based on ur sig I see no reason u are lacking midbass unless ur settings are all jacked up, freq, slope, etc or ur doors are not sealed correctly..

Wow thanks for the quick replies. I'll take a pic of them today but I have them in the q-logic kickpanels...which are def not sealed very well. I can easily put my finger in behind it. I was thinking about switching to my doors if it would give me a better sound.

I think sealing the kicks would do better for the Focals

you wont get any mid bass out of thos q logic kicks,or do a 3 way and put a midbass in the door.

Cross subs higher or mids lower. Also worth experimenting with is running sub out of phase (or adjust phase if you have the option) to see if it's a cancellation issue.

pickup1 could I do an extra midbass in the door with the same amp I'm using? If so any suggestions on what to get?

hispls that's almost what it sounds like...I know the speakers are capable of it but at certain frequencies it just cuts out. I'll flip the phase today and see if that helps

any suggestions on how to seal those q-logics?

You could use a 3 way passive crossover and use the same amp,or..use the front for the front and use the rear off the amp for the midbass,run rear fill off fhe headunit.

can also try wiring 1 mid out of phase, that can make a big diff...

What kinda music are you listening to?

Mess with your crossover settings and eq if you have one

I listen to techno and dubstep but sometimes rock...so when I listen to rock it sounds like crap in my opinion

you do not need a 3 way set to get good midbass.

You need to take some sheet metal or wood or something sturdy and seal up those gaping holes in the door frame. Also, you'll want some deadener on your doors.
