Zapco or speaker problem

I've got a Nissan with the bose system, that originally when I had the system upgraded they spliced the bose amp instead of getting the PAC unit. Once in awile when I moved a wire connected to the bose amp the zapco would shut off for a few seconds. I added the PAC unit last weekend and ran new RCA's to the rear where the amp is. When I plugged the right rca in the amp would shut off for a few seconds and clip back on for a 1/2 second or so. All the other RCA inputs worked fine until I plugged that one in. I thought it was the amp and sent it back to zapco for what I thought would be repair. I just received a call saying the amp is in excellent condition and nothing is wrong with it. So what could the problem be???? The pac unit has a 4 channel output, so at the pac unit I Y split the front channel to get 6 channels total, for my sub amp. This is annoying as hell, I though the amp was messed up and its not. Anyone have any ideas what it could be??? The ohm load is fine, speakers are not grounding out, and they are not blown.
