your first/worst system.....ever

15" Kicker L7 for the woofer...I've never had a bad amp (I've gone from a PG Tantrum 1200.1 to an RF T1500bd to the RF T2500bd), but I Hated that woofer. Box was built to spec and everything. It was a single D4 ohm and it fried my PG amp. Then when I purchased the RFt1500 amp and ran it, it fried the woofer (at 2ohms that amp put out around 1100-1200watts). Sold the warrantied woofer and amp after that and the next kid blew it within 2 months of owning it.

One of my firsts. 86/87 buick skyhawk , 3" plastic motorola tweeters in the dash , flea market 6x9's with blown everything except the woofers , sony ES tape deck/changer , sony XM-4045 amp. Interior speakers on the front channels , and a OS Kicker comp 10 bridged to the rear channels.

My first car was handed down to me with my first system in it.

'94 Bronco: Kendwood KDC-X679 HU, which I'm still using

Kenwood front and rear speakers, still using the fronts.

And a JL bass package which had two JL10w0 in a JL prefab with a JL e2150 amp. Still using that dual prefab for my ONE SA-10 My custom box should be done next week.

I put two OS RF punch 500's on two solo baric 12's in my moms 91 tracer. All on stock electrical.

Wiring couldn't of been more then 8gauge, rca's where wired up through the speaker wires. I was about 13.

I cant even say if it worked or not as I dont remember. Just remember hearing a little bit of bass. then I had to get it all out of there before my mom woke up for work.

I dont even know if that counts as a first system but I hooked up a bunch of car audio that was mine and played with it.

first system was 2 12" Alpine type S with a legacy blue diamond "2000" watt amp.

2 15" Mtx terminators in sealed box w/ grillz and Pyramid Gold amp. Got it for 20 bucks. As a h/u it was a newer Pioneer tape deck that I got for like 50. This was all 13 years ago @15yr's old.

Then things changed.

Kept the HU and comps, got an Adire Brahma MkII 10" and JBL bp1200.1. Built a box 1.4cuft @ 34hz under the seat, beat my local shops demo vehicle at the SPL comp THEY HOSTED!!!!

A single punch Z fosgate in a truck box powered by one of those blue and chrome 300 watt Jensen amps on a pioneer tape deck. Had it in a 1992 lumina euro sport. Upgraded to 2 $20 dollor legacy flee market 12"s subs which fried the coils a few days after purchase. that lumina smelled like that until it was sold about a year later.
