thats the head unit i'm looking at, and it has all types of amp features, what would you guys suggest i do with a seperate amp?

i want to run an 8 or 10 " assassin to the back

so would i get a class d amp for that to hook up and then just let the head unit run the comp speakers in the front?

You can get an amp just for the sub if you like, it depends on your budget if you wanna get one for the comps...
