XXX sub / FI Recone Felt Pad Melting? Pictures Inside

To measure what ohm the subwoofer is reading out to the amp correct? It's reading about 1.8 the last time I've checked. **** volume 31? Doesn't it max out at 35.
Yes.

If you have an entirely amplified system, there is no reason not to.

So if your highs and subs are amplified... you should set your gains with your volume where you'll actually be getting good pre-out voltage.

On alpines, I'd recommend 28-31. I choose 31, so just incase I get a shitty song that is like -3dB down... I can still turn it up to 35 if I need to.

Well I don't think I've found out anything close to even resolving my problem. Other then getting someone to help me, or getting someone with an actual o-scope or something to help me. Oh well, I just re-set the gains, I even burned a brand new disck for 50hz for sub and 1khz for highs and re-set the gains for both highs and lows with my new 880prs head-unit.

I only have to turn mine up to 15. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

volume 15 and more amp gain was louder than volume 25 and less amp gain. Stupid shit, I know, but anything for a few more tenths on the meter.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Indeed.

I know what you mean though man, in SPL... it can be *** backward after a lot of testing.

I like 28-31 for daily driving though.
