i have an 03 ford ranger edge ext cab. I have replaced the factory speakers with kenwood 6x8 all around. The rear speaker vibrate very bad but i have them tightened down very well a friend told me the speakers are hitting the cover. (The speakers are attached to the back cover) How do i fix this?????

Dont run rear speakers. My front speakers crash into the door panel when I dont have the HPF on. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Oh and get in thoes doors and run 6.5's with tweeters on the dash/A-Pillar.

yea man i have a 94 xlt ranger extended cab. i dont run rears...just 6.5 comps in the doors and tweets on the pillars. but you could possibly use some spacers to give you just enough clearance in the rear locations between the speaker and the cover. im not sure if there is room bc i dont use my rears..never touched them but its an idea to check out

idk if your still havin this problem.. but i do

i have a 2001 ext cab

it only vibrates in certain songs/frequencies

and idk whats up... just hoping that once my subs are in i wont notice it.. cause its pretty small

make a ring out of masonite to act as a baffle and see if that clears it up. If it is hitting the actual stock speaker grill then you instead may want to put a few washers on the screws between the grill and the sidewall to space it away from the speaker.
