XXX questions

Hi , I made a quick sealed box, for an XXX or XXX's but i dont know what holes to cut, should i cut a 15in hole or 2 12in holes, it is 16in high and 28w and 20''d give or take a few inches, anyway right now i have a 1501bd and i am wondering what setup would be louder, down the road i will buy another 1501bd if i get 2 12's and a ported box, thank you

so what are you saying? you just built a random box that happens to accomodate either setup? or did you actually find out what size the actual subs perform their best in?

i was just tlaking to a guy, he say there is no way i can run 2 xxx off my amp then later on buy another amp, bc my amp is 2 ohm stable, and the subs are either dual 2, or daul 4, so he says i cant run 2 12in xxx's off ym amp now and down the road run one later, he says i am shit out of luck, i should either run 1 15 with ym map or 1 12 then down the road buy another 12 or maybe 15 and another amp

XXX are dual 2 ohm......so 1 of them would give u a one ohm load or 4 ohm load. 2 of them would give u a 2 ohm load.......but they would be needing at least 2k watts total and a nice 5-6 cube ported box.

you should go buy a grammer book...

but nah...seriously....if you dont know about ohms then you shouldnt plan so far ahead....just get the 15 inch xxx first. A 15 inch xxx can be too much for a lot of people in a proper ported box...
