To the original poster, it sounds like your starter is indeed dead, one final test to do is to bypass the starter solenoid. I warn you, if you do this you'll see sparks and it might scare you, but its quite harmless. what you want to do is take a peice of large gauge wire (4 gauge or larger) and touch the positive of the battery to the positive terminal on the starter motor itself. if you hear it spin when you do this, your starter works and you need to consider replacing your starter solenoid or you need to look at your positive connection to your starter again. cause thats about all it can be at this point.
X2. I've about had it with mine. But I'm still saving for a new vehicle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif .Fuckin car
so it's not gonna cost an arm and a leg to fix?It is the starter. The solenoid is working as it is supposed to, but the conductors that the solenoid touches when it comes out (clicks) are worn. Happened to my acura. Tear down the starter, take the copper pieces behind the solenoid to a starter/alternator shop and tell em you need em, fast. lol. Its a simple fix really.
