Yeah well does anyone have a good way of finding out when dB drags are in washington.?? i know a few local car audio places do them in summer time but I wanna get in the first and so therefore I can upgrade quickly and improve I want to hit 150+ by the end of summer.

Bigger is better and definatly if you plan to upgrade in the near future. Why buy wire twice if you only need to buy it once?

Not nessesarly tue because the 500/1 doesn't draw enough power to make a difference, but you're right in respects to the upgrading part. However, he's going to have to buy reducers which also contributes to the overall cost.

Well my amp kit actually is 1/0 from battery to a terminal with 2 outputs of 4 gauge, so 4 gauge goes into the amps as for it calls but otherwise 1/0 from term to battery. But I did have a different setup which called for 1/0 to be ran through it, so I down graded to see what the hype about JL was about..

140 would be hard with one 12, maybe sure you get a hold of a term lab meter....

Well if I were to get 3 w6v2's would I just run 3 500/1's to it? Money wise isnt a issue I just want to know how to break 150 with JL

150db is over 3 times louder than 140db, that'd be hard.

My one mag 12 is in the low 139s with 600rms sealed...and that is at 34-37hz

Are you talking about my JL XR comps? They sound really good if you ask me but i'm sure others will say that there are better speakers for the money. And I would agree with them if I would have paid full price for them, but I didnt. So I would say they perform the best for the money I spent.
