Would you let your 17 year old son have *** with his teacher?

I'm not saying he has a similar cramp as the female in that decision. Sadly I'm saying just from being born gay he may have a rough time in general just for his sexuality. Is it wrong? Sure.
Of course...but where does this protection end? When would you allow them to make their own choices...based on what they want rather than what you think is best for their reputation.

My level of income and education would be vastly less if my parents enforced what they thought was most important for my well-being.

Don't you see that is an opinion?
The world we lived in 80 years ago thought it was okay for certain people to pass literacy tests to vote. The world we lived in 200 years ago thought it was okay for people to own slaves. So, just because it is "current popular opinion" it does not make it right. If you were explaining to me that there were different standards among men and women, you were wasting your time.

I'm not stating my opinion on the stereotype itself. I'm planly saying since the stereotype is there I wouldn't want my daughter to do it because of how it would be viewed and I wouldn't mind if my son did it because he wouldn't be viewed in a negitive mannor.

I can see that, and on some level respect it...but see below.

he is saying the gay kids ether way will deal with 5 times the hardships of any straight kid. don't care how dorky the kid is how much he picks his nose, anything. and yes a younger man will be looked up to by his peers for ****ing her, where a female will more then likely be looked down upon(much as you i do not know how the female mind works obviously)

Most of you are just saying the dad shouldn't have called the cops based on passed experiences seeing a hot teacher in school and wanting to fvck her brains out.

It's possible this teacher was a lunatic (considering she's a substitute she probably didn't go far with life) It's also possible for other reasons such as the kid's life going down the drain due to her corrupting him. Do we even know how old she is? O P didn't say.

We've seen no pictures, no anything, and yet you guys are all over her just because she has a vajaja and it's not dead. I'm proud of you, but at the same time, I'm disgusted.

vary good point, i am also in a similar boat. but at the same time(thankfully i have two boys) if i had a girl she would not be allowed to attend school and never leave my house, prob some sort of chastity belt as well.

Look your parents can only try to do what they think is best for you. If I sold drugs when I was younger I may have tons of money now and be out of the drug business and say I was sucessful for not listning to my parents. Is that how I should look at it? No. I'm sure you may have gotton lucky and been a very sucessful person not listning to your parents but I'm sure what they intended for you was nothing but good. Some people persue singing carrers and their parents object and want them to go to school. Some of those people make it and become huge artists with millions of dollars.. Sadly the majority don't and would have had a way better life if they did listen to their parents.

They can make their own decisions if my kids are in high school I'm not going to be able to be there when they decide its ok to sleep with their teacher. Thats a non issue obviously. My only point is if someone was going to call me and tell me one of my kids slept with their teacher I would hope they told me my son did. Not because I believe in the stereotype itself. But because the stereotype is ACTIVE in todays society....

The girls in my cube are ambilvalent. Either way, it is a clear departure from the smiles and high-fives a guy would receive.

But don't you see how your reaction perpetuates the stereotype?

Listen flip, I'm not going to be the person to try to change stereotypes in todays society. I don't think this stereotype will ever change (as long as I live for sure). I see your point but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and take some sh*t weither is wrong or not take the worst of it just because of the outcome. If my boss screams at me and he's totally wrong am I going to scream back? No. I'm going to say "Okay mr. smith" and keep my job.

You seem to believe you are unable to change stereotypes so you "go along to get along". I disagree with that approach.
Again I do agree with you. But am I going to attempt to change this stereotype at the hand of my daughters reputation? Sorry but no.

And I guess that rests the argument. I believe in actively challenging what I feel to be injustices and you do not. It is as simple as that.

If there was less at stake flip sure I would try to do my best to change things for the better.
You can work to change this without even having a daughter. You can change the world by expressing a different opinion on a car audio forum.
