For two type r's, outside dimensions: 5/8 Fiberboard

33 inches long

16.1 inches high

Bottom depth 16 inches

Top depth 12 inches

5/8 Fiberboard divider,2 3x3x3 blocks inside for bolting

Should be about 3.4 cubic feet total (1.7 per chamber) when taking out the divider and blocks.

Two ports 3 inch diameter 9.9 inches long.

i did it very quickly, so dont hold me to it, but i got 1.66 ft. ^3 tuned to 31.02 Hz.

Use 3/4" MDF, not 5/8 fiberboard

Well I just used the recommendations from alpine so I didn't even check on the tuning. 3/4 MDF, ok let me redo some calculations here.

1 more question, on cruthfield it says: Recommended Vented Box Volume: The vented box sizes recommended by Alpine range from 0.75 cu/ft to 2.0 cu/ft. Within this range, the ideal size recommended by Alpine is 1.7 cu/ft, so this is the enclosure recommended by Crutchfield. A slot port with the following dimensions should be used with the 1.7 cu/ft enclosure: W=12", H=1.25", L=21". If you cannot use a slot port in your enclosure, you will need a port tube with the following dimensions: Diameter=3", L=9.9".

So should the box be 1.7 without the ports?
