just sub i'm sure shipping kills now..
I bet it does. Owner of Sundown changed their warranty so people could get special shipping rates because he said the rates were too high for customers. Can't imagine shipping the box with it.

 
Just an update: Really impressed with how this sub sounds SQ wise, even in a ported enclosure. After I've had more listening time (and upgraded the amp) I might write a real review down the road. Listening to jazz and rock it keeps up very well with bass guitar and stand up bass. I can't hear any sloppiness. Time will tell.

Yup , the dsp should have input sections, it may have one for sub? Hu to dsp. Dsp to amps, amps to speakers. Probably help you to draw this all...

It also lowers the amps efficiency and raises the current draw.

i have a 15 already for the lows ita a little over kill for a crew cab but I like it and I was hoping it would sound better and louder than my old...

I always leave approx 6" or so for that very reason, in case I decide to swapp an amp if needed,or wanting too.RCAs ect. I deff do the extra 6-8"...

Honestly, beyond what you need. It will do the trick for sure, but it is excessive. Not a bad thing, just more than you will ever need. No need...
