Would adding steel weights to a box to deter theives effects a subwoofers performance

I'm actually a diesel mechanic, and fix on alot more chevys than fords!!! and don't let me start with dodge...one lil problem and the whole thing starts falling apart!
retired ASE mechanic ( notice i didnt say tech... I actually know cars not theory BS ) and i agree on the dodge part but ford kept me in business most of my life... not becuz they break more or less but because they take longer and cost more.....

There are dozens of people who come in each week cause they heard a lil squeal or something when they stop and they think their brakes are out, then when I tell them they are fine they argue it out with me! I thought I was the mechanic!

SicAudio, I know where that is my ex girlfriend was taking care of a lady out there....I actually live in aurora. Some times cleaning off the break pads won't get rid of the noise...so I tell them is it worth buying new rotors and pads to get rid of a harmless noise?

especially when you can pull the wheels and use a scotchbrite or anglegrinder with a 3m rubber burnisher //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif charge em 45 minutes labor and be done in 15 and have the apprentice do thw wheels lol
