would a 2way comp set be better than 4 coaxes?

right now i have 4 pioneers, 5.25 in front and 6x9 in back. powered by my HU. when i install my CDT comp set, amplified. will it be louder than all 4 coaxes off of hu power? should i remove my rear fill completely?

alrighty then. so ill disconnect my 6x9's. im either going to make a ring and mount them in the doors, or see if i can get a kickpod made. if i get the kickpod im going to leave my pioneers in the doors off of HU power.

I just did this a few months ago, replaced 4 pioneer 5.25's with a set of 6.5" CDT's. Sounds 100x better.

im sure your CL-6's sound better than my Kama K's tho. but these KK's are my first comp set, so i should be happy with it till im ready to drop 300+ on a 3-way set. but i see you kept your pioneers in your rear? those are the pioneers i have, the 6x9 and the 5.25's, same model

I'd try it faded to the front once the comps are in. If you don't like it/not loud enough then fade in the rears and see if you like it better.

I like loud rear fill, so I'm the minority on here. LOL
