I would have to agree.Pretty much anything German... Mercedes, BMW and VW come to mind.
Amen!Germans build their cars not to be taken apart.
Some certain moderators sled that required removing about 20 screws to remove items from the door panel, that would allow other parts of said door panel to slide, and expose more screws to be removed , that allowed the removal of the arm rest where you find the ONE BOLT that actually holds the panel to the door. yeah my 05 civic i had the same issue...ended up running all my wires up the side of the car because i was scared to take the center console out....thought i was going to break it.... HU was a snap to take off as well as the door panels....maybe its just because ive done it about a dozen times lolThey make kits for them; I installed one and it wasn't much work at all.
As for headunits, so far for me it's been the 01+ civics and 94-01 integras. Those headunits are such a ***** to replace. The civic is scary because you have to apply a ton of force to remove the center area and the plastic will come very close to breaking, even with a large amount of area being used to pry it (ie, not a flat head screw driver).
Any older model american made car with dash speakers ****** . My fat arse arms could never reach up under the dash far enough to get to the drivers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gifDash speakers in an old school Caddy.....
