Workout Plan?

I skipped over quite a bit, but I can tell you what I do. Works pretty good in my opinion plus I feel very energized just about every single day. You really do need to change your diet... I know you said you didn't want to, but you will feel amazing by eating healthier. With that said, my workout schedule is as follows
M/Th - Biceps, shoulders and back

T/F - Chest and triceps

W/Sat - Legs

I also do 25 minutes of high intensity cardio on an elliptical before each workout. If you'd like, I can go into further detail as to what I do for each muscle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

My total workout every day lasts anywhere from 50 minutes to an hour and 20 minutes and I take N.O.-Xplode before I workout.
Do you feel that your workouts are more efficient since you are no longer interrupted by people wanting to know about drugs and whether you know this druggie or that druggie?

If you could get to it, I would recommend Tae-bo or something similar. I went to a class for that one time and never stopped moving the whole hour I was there. But, it was the best workout I ever had. After that hour of exercise, I felt energized. It was so surprising. I wanted to play a pickup game of basketball afterwards. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Edit: The class was also full of girls which ain't so bad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

People no longer approach me about anything. I think it has to do with my large muscles.

You are just one of the crowd now.
Apparently you're not the only one to feel that way

Forget the weights buddy if you don't really want to get any bigger. Swim for 20-30 min using multiple strokes and bike, run, or eliptical 40-60 min. Start eating decently and you'll start seeing results in a month.

Or you could do weights for 2-3 months to get some added strength and then start swimming.

Swimming will get you ripped, flexable, and feeling like a GOD. Much less stressful on the body and mind.

I lift right now and have been since December. In the second week in May, I will go strictly to swimming and maybe lift once a weeks doing one exercise per body part, 2 sets.

If you wanna do cardio do something like this

I just changed my entire diet and starting running/working out.

Although I still drink //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I alternate the running and working out to every other day so I'm running one day, and then working out the next.

Nothing special...just looking to lose 5-10 pounds or so on my stomach/chest/thighs and gain weight in muscle mass. Anyone have any tips for me to lose weight in those areas? You guys seem pretty knowledgeable...

Why not something like calisthenics? Just some basic, everyday fitness routine they do in the armed forces. Sounds like you aren't going for anything in particular, and this could be your answer.

i started that workout where you lay flat down on your back, place your hands under the small of your back and lift your legs to a 90* angle, lower them to an inch off the ground and repeat until you cannot lift them anymore, also swing them side to side for variation... thats a set, then do as many sets as you can a day whenever you have random free time... then i throw in "sets" of pushups and regular crunches in there...

i want a nice core mainly, so weight lifting is just for fun occasionally

I'm not sure if you have been sufficiently helped as I have not read the thread. However, if I were to recommend a routine it would be Bill starr's 5x5. 5 reps is a good balance in between low and high reps.

Also here is my journal, I'm going for more of an athletic but big look. Not some skinny toned look or some gorrila bulky mofo but in between. So this can give you somewhat of an idea.

Also meal time is just as important as gym time. If you are looking for a low calorie high protein food cottage cheese is awesome.
