Wiring two batteries..

You have a 200A alt though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

if he's got a 70A fleapower one, I would recommend isolating them.

Can you elaborate on why you say this, I am looking to add a battery and I am trying to figure out why an isolator is a good thing as opposed to what snova said?

He has a lot of current going to his batteries - I said that because if you try to charge too much combined off a small alt, you're going to send that alt to an early death. What size alt do you have?

*edit - deep cycle or no? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
