I have a 2 channel 600 watt max kenwood amplifier and 2 JL Audio 12 inch WO's. I am not sure the best way to hook up the subs. I have been told to buy a JL amp becuase that will work the best, but unfortunately i cannot afford one right now, and am wanting to do the best with what i have. Thanks

we need more info--for instance what ohn vc's do you have any how many per sub?

The kenwood amp is a 2 channel but has a stereo or mono switch.... the subs are single voice coil and are 8 ohms
Hmm, if the amp is a two channel, you can go ahead and wire both speakers on the "bridged" terminals.

It should say somewhere on the speaker outputs what + and - you use to "bridge" the amp. Wire up BOTH speakers to those 2 terminals.

Two 8 ohms subs wired in parallel = 4 ohms. Parallel with two svc 8 ohm subs = all postive terminals wired together to the + bridge terminal on the amp and all negative terminals wired together to the - bridge terminal on the amp.
