I just hooked up my two fosgate p2's in my new car today...they sounded great in my sebring, but now that they are in my tiburon i can hardly tell a difference from the stock system. i wired them at 2 ohms and have no clue what the problem could be...my friend set the gains with his fluke at 500 rms and they are moving fine but are hardly making any noise. anyone know what the problem could be?

edit: while my friend was setting the gains with a test tone, they sounded great, like they did in my old car. but then we put in a regular cd and they just dont hit like they should. Like i said, they move fine almost bottoming out, but just dont make hardly any noise

check the x overs

sounds more like he didn't set them right, usually you'd use a -3db hz tone, he may have used a 0db or even worse a clipped tone.

also the orientation of the box plays a large role too

ehh i dont think thats it...he goes to competitions with his car and is pretty experienced and he didnt even know the problem. my box is firing towards the trunk hatch like in my old car, away from the drivers seat.
