So my question is. is there a reason why this stuff is so cheap like its cheap quality or something. or is wire wire? and i should go with it. cuz if this is all the same quality as some of the other stuff i see than im gunna go with this. some one plz help thanx!

i disagree..there r different levels of sheilding/ insulation around wire... there r also differnt strand amounts per wire... i bought sum "4" gauge wire and looked like good 8 gauge...so on and so on....it all depends....but for speaker wire and stuff i dont really care about what wire i use i just end up gettin a little better then the worst.....good night all

wire is wire EXCEPT is it solid or stranded? you obviously dont use solid wire in a moving vehicle. You need stranded because of its flexibility. The more strands = more flexible.

we don't live in a vacuum. I believe all electrical grade wire is mfgd. OFC, but as soon as it's exposed to air it's not OFC anymore. It's a marketing term - a little like a "Hi-Power" HU.

Then why does everyone on the board say get OFC? I had never even heard the term or thought of it till I started reading here. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
Makes since though. Just as many sellers list MAX watts instead of RMS to make it appear better than it is. Good info!
