The system i plan on getting is this

2 x Phoneix gold titanium Elite Subs 12" 1000w rms

2 x Crunch blackmaXX 1000watt at 4ohm amps

1 x rockford punch 360 watt amp (for front door speakers)

2 x 1.5 farad rockford power caps

Thats 2360 watts in total

i have a renault clio 1.2 mrk 1 1997 with a 90 amp alternator (can be rewound to make about 100 amps

the system will be installed all in 2 gauge wiring and i have a standard battery (nothing special)

My bro who does know his stuff (suposedly) keeps telling me that my car is going to die in no time coz i jst dont have the power.

whats the deal really...am i going to be fine, struggle or is this not going to work at all?????

Please help coz its holding me up getting this system!!

sorry to disapoint ya man.. but that alt will prolly only put out around a 1010 watts, after being rewound mayb 1200

and how much are you paying to get it rewound?

Not only will you kill your alt/battery 2 gauge will probably not be enough for that load if you plan on cranking it up. A 1000W amp can draw 120A or more. 2 GA. carries around 200A max. Your 2 1000W amps alone could draw about 250A.

Yep I have to agree you will not be able to use this setup.

Look at it like this. Your alt puts out about 100 Amps (after work)

To run the car, radio, A/C, lights, and everything else electrical you need about 75 to 80 amps. Well that leaves you about 20 amps or so left over to play with (that is best case)

You factor in the amps you want to install pull about 50 or so amps each that is 150 amps. (i am figuring low, only using numbers as an example)

So with the 150 your amps pull and the 75 your car pulls (to run) that is 225 amps. Your alt puts out 100 amps, so right now you are 125 amps short. Well that power has to come from some place, so it will start taking if from the battery, and your battery will NOT handle that kind of load for a long period. It will be asking the battery to do what it is not designed to do. The only way to fix this is to go with a LARGE amp ALT. Even then you may not have enough amps to push this load. You might have to think about going with a double alt config.
