width: 38"

depth: 16"

...let me know if you can do it...im lookin to do it this weekend, thanks for the help...

Buy the tools for 80 and make a box.

I picked up a cheap black and decker kit from wal-mart for 50 bucks i got the drill, jigsaw, and sander. Now take the extra 20-30 and buy wood.

Ya get what ya pay for with tools //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. Also, if you're gonna buy tools just to build one box...might as well just have someone else build it, at least imo.

prefab boxes are mass manufactured and arent always made for a specific sub. they sometimes are made out of shatty wood and arent very well sealed. plus they make them look cool which doesnt always = good sound

There's a best buy employee for ya!.
ill never forget that day the best buy employee told me that crossover was when ure car switch side that a speaker played on (r channel plays on left left on right and so forth) (balance)(not crossover) i laughed in his face and left.....

i work in the back and didnt even bother askin the people in car audio lol...cause i know mostt likely they wouldnt know...

but anyways, i went to lowes today...is it the 3/4 particle board that i use?

If you don't have the tools to build one and its your first time I would say get a custom box done by a local shop
