Sounds to me like he has small dick syndrome.
From what I read he started the bashing.
Here post this up...
Dear Vance,
I see you enjoy flaming other people over the internet. People who are actually trying to ask, conversation, and potentially learn. Please, and I am asking politely, register on our forum so that I can further your conversation with JoeSmith. I do not have an email other then gmail, yahoo and work. I am sure not signing up with my work email.
No one in their right mind would use wood for sound deadening. You see, not only is it a waste of money, space, weight, and time...but there are FAR superior products on the market that take FAR less of the previously mentioned. Also, I dont see any wood on the actual trunk lid where the majority of rattles occure, just in the floor of the trunk. Being that your subwoofers aren't going to produce a large amount of pressure levels your wood really did nothing for you anyways.
Also, in all honesty the equipment that you are bragging so hard about is nothing to really brag about. Nothing you have is the end all beat all...In fact nothing is really that rare. Your subs are probably mid-line pioneer and your amps are no better then Joe's.
You brag over and over on your install and equipment that I really think you have lost site of what this hobby is really all about. That would be listening and enjoying music. With this comes being respectful and helping others.
In closing I really wish you the best of luck in future endeavors if you so chose not to come on caraudio.com and discuss...
Thanks,
