Will my type r's get better with time...?

they won't sound good unless you have a tcab box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
x2, till i got an estimate $325 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/omg.gif.05aa02c3095d6ce9338996654eca0863.gif

Wow that is strange. I got my type r's sealed because I listen to a ton of rock. I am doing 144.3 on the tl and 140.2 on the 190 a/c. I am only running a tad over 500rms to them too. My sealed box is a t 1.75cft though. If you want output though then do ported, although I heard 3 12" r's in a ported box in a 4runner and wasnt impressed. He was doing high 140's but still. I guess it is true that you need to get the tcab box to get them to slam.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Port them with 2 cubes each and they will get loud.

My friends 2 12''s off of my 1200d (4ga wiring and no big 3) are sickly loud. In a single box 4 cubes tuned to 32hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

ok, i have heard this from 2 different ppl...they tell me that my phase might not be adjusted right...the phase knob is supposed to be on 0 right, i have a bx2005d wired to 1 ohm.
