will i need a yellow top battery?

I'll agree they're less expensive... the other part... I'm pretty confident you have no idea. In fact, there are so many reasons that is wrong I dont even know where to start. I'm curious to hear what is "better" about the Interstate? Oh, I know... it's not so heavy... you dont like yellow??? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
my uncle did a test on both batteries yellow top and interstate because he wanted to see which was better...also he is a mechanic so he tested them and interstate had the better power capabilty than the yellow top so yeah

yeah just get an interstate.....they are better than yeallow tops and are less expensive

I was told that Interstate bought Optima and alot of the local shops around here say they stopped selling Optimas b/c they were crapping out left and right. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Is this true? Interstate bought Optima? And AlpineUser tell me why/how the Interstate is better then the Optima
No, Optima is owned by Johnson Controls... Optima batteries are distributed by the same distributor Interstate used as well as Exide and others. Batteries are my job, and I can tell you the only way an Interste is going to beat an Optima in anything is if it's a bigger battery than the Optima... even then, the Optima will give it a run for it's money.
