No time for the old in-out, love. I've just come to read the meter.
The sub looks a lot better in person. And when I talked to the owner of the company, he said that they wanted to stay away from the 12 spoke basket on the sidewinders since just about everyone was using them. There will be 12 spoke baskets on the other lines, the sidewinder is just the entry level sub.
And remember you have to compare it to Type R's, RE SE's, and IA 187's since it falls into that price range. It's not going to be a SI mag for $130 shipped to your door haha.
Also, from a performance standpoint, the sub has been doing VERY well. Has some impressive output, and it also sounded decent as well.
Is the napalm a good looking sub? That is all opinion, and I am sure may people will like it, and many others won't, but again from the tests they have run those things are pretty crazy. I saw a video on ROE that had one hooked up to a wall socket for over 2 minutes! So it can take a lot of abuse. And I know MD has a single napalm hitting around 156db's right now on a TL.
Persoanlly I don't think they are ugly subs. I could see how people would think that, but in the end I think even the people who think they are ugly would be very happy with the performace for the price.
I am sure some people on here will test them out though. It will be good to get some opinions.
