Will I kill or weaken my battery?

My current stock battery went out today. I already had plans to order a Kinetik HC1400 & and undecided alt on 10-12, and install them both at the same time. If I order this battery today, and run it for 1-2 months will my stock alt (98civic) will i weaken the capacity of what my battery? or even kill it?

Thanks man. They said my alt is fine. but my batt is gone. It works 50% of the time. I just have to pray that it cranks untill this bad boy gets here.

yup the 1400 is actually less of a load to charge than your stock battery.
