parallel or series?

and where do i find a good, very small batt? batt cap? kinetic?

SVR makes some good small batteries, use to offer 28-12 that was a prettt good model

try a kinetik 600-800. the 800 is basically 2 600's in power for not that much more and not too terrible in the price department. parrallel them pos to pos neg to neg or ground.
