im pretty sure the gains are set correctly they said the one guy that does the gains did installations for 17+ years but he does set it by ear not with the o-scope ... and they do offer lifetime guarntee's so if the gains fux up my equipment i can go back and raise hell
the only thing wierd though is they have the amp far back in the trunk and then the box infront of it, like the amps on the ground of the trunk just laying there then the box is infront of it .... you tihnk thats a good idea or they should have mounted it on the box?

Is the amp screwed down...and if he didnt set the gains with an o-scope or DMM they im willing to bet the gains arent set right.

Thats stupid dude, sounds like that shop sucks. Give us some pics of the install, that type of stuff is exactly why I would never let any shop around here install anything in my car unless I knew they where good. They just half-*** shit that they think inexperienced users won't notice.

**** man i went in there and the gain was 3/4's of the way up , i turned it to halfway and its still pretty loud ... but they did have it pretty high up (the gain goes from 9volts to .9 volts and it was nearer the .9 volts
