What kind off batts and amp. You must have had huge batts or tons of rise to not drop under 12 at over 5k

iagree theres no way.... my friend runs a AB vfl500.1 on a stock 90amp alt with 5 yella top opti's and barley barley manages to stay above the 10v protect in the vfl500.1's.... unless a 30amps make that big a difference in alts

When you're comparing it to a 90A alt, yeah, 30A would make a huge difference.....but I think you meant 15 (105A vs/ 90A).
