Will a 15" sub fit in this box?

basically the only thing im worried about is the height..

will a height of 16.5 be good enough? and this will including the .75" of mdp on the top and bottom..

so basically the front piece of mdf for my box will be 15".. so the sub will take up the entire 15" height.

is that ok?

Sure, I have had it like that before.

14 1/8".. so basically there would be a leeway of 7/8" to split between the top and bottom
