why wont my system work?!?!?

the ups guy brought me my hifonics tx1505d today and when i hooked it up no sound came from the woofer.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif I had a different sub/amp combo hooked up in it earlier today so i know all the wiring is correct. The new amp is coming on, but acts like no signal is going to the speaker. Im confused because the RCA inputs on the amp are different from any other i have seen. There is not a red and white one, but an "L" and "R" instead. Does anyone know what i might be doing wrong? ... thanks in advance

Traditionally red is for right and whatever other color will be left.

None of my interconnects have red and white ends - only colored marks on the ends to demarcate which channel they are.

check to make sure your gains are up and ur hookin the speaker wire to the right connections, check back after u do that

it's a mono amp, so it doesn't matter which rca's go in to which jack.

x2 on checking gains and any other electronic adjustments you can make.
