Life moves on. Just respect the things that have happened in the past, while making moves toward the future. At some point there has been battles where we all lived, whether it be Indians or what not, so I say they should be aloud to build, if they are not inside the actual park.

I'd love to see an aerial shot of the land in question, suspiciously missing

from every news story. My guess is that every other precious hill overlooking

the battlefield has been taken by other businesses or homes, and wallmart

is the only one being villainized for building on land NEAR a civil war battle

field not on it.

I say build it there. If we never built on an area that was important, we would never build anything.

I am a vet, and for all I care they could bulldoze , pave, blow up, demolish and build a strip club on the fields/mountains/areas I have seen battle at!!!
