It's about time. If this saves even one persons life from the impaired driving of a pot head it is worth it!

have you ever been stoned? have you ever driven or even ridden a bicycle while stoned? i know atleast me and every person i know; weed doesnt affect our driving at all; in fact i drive worse at 8:30 in the am when im on my way to work then at 7 when im headin to the disc course to throw a round and burn one

Some states, least the one i am in, will charge you with possession if you have any drugs in your system. Ingestion is a crime here.

if you can find 1 proven statistic that proves marijuana has killed some1 then let me know; atleast not "a kid got high and thought he could fly; so he jumped out a window" i dont know about what every state law is; but atleast in IL; it is not illegal to consume; you cannot be charged with possession without actually possessing the drug. Otherwise some Dickhead cop could just say "your eyes are red; put your hands behind your back" and yes whether the republicans believe it or not; cops do not follow the law to the t. they dont. ive been arrested for stuff i havnt done; i have had my car searched for no reason at all; Cops(atleast local 5-0) are the guys in highschool that got picked on and made fun of; then they got older and became a cop to get back at the world.

this would be used for a DUI; yes you can get a dui for driving while stoned; its just very hard to prove. i know someone that had gotten a dui for weed. he had abunch of crap in his car; thats how they were able to get the conviction... but i get what your saying; almost all salivia tests work for the 3 days prior to the test; they are by far the most unclear; inexact drug tests available

i understand about the DUI thing , but like you said , those tests are garbage.

yes; my mom works for staffing agency that gives out saliva tests; she brought one home; i took it after i took some massive bong hits and passed; i was high as hell; and passed

I think Marijuana is far less detrimental to society than alcohol. I strongly disagree with claims that it makes you "stupid" After at least 2 years of casual smoking my IQ went up 10 points.

Hamilton County Sheriff Simon Leis has been very vocal about the amount of inmates he's had to release from the jail due to overcrowding. Now he's posting those numbers, and names on the Sheriff's website.
On the site, Leis says he's had to release more than 13,000 inmates early so far this year. That's compared to about 9,000 last year.

The released inmates face a wide variety of charges including assault, theft, drug charges, soliciting, and traffic violations.

Leis had pushed for passage of a tax on the November 2007, saying without it, he wouldn't have room in the county prison to house all the inmates. Voters rejected it.

We need to get one of these into EVERY police car in the nation and should be used at EVERY traffic stop. NOTHING is more important than getting these dopers off the streets and into prison.

Just think of the lives this thing will save by getting those people addicted to lethal drugs like marijuana and crack off the street before they can infect other people with their addiction.
