Was in Ireland in April. Gas was 1.30 a liter or 4.92 Euro a gallon. Which is now about $7.75 a gallon US. So it is allready close to $8 a gallon in other parts of the world.

The price of fuel has taxes that subsidize public transportation.

It's as high as $15 in some one African country(can't remember). And just .12 a gallon in Venezuela...there's about 10 countries who have gas below a dollar a gallon.

ive always loved those focus hatch backs too!

i actually really like my car.

I'm also not going to lie that I'm glad gas will be really expensive when i go to sell it and move to Korea.

Well it's already above $4 here. I have to use premium, so its about $4.15-$4.25

What are you going to do when you get back?

Well i plan on moving to a metro area when i return.. in which case i wont need a nice new car for a hella long commute.

Even if that doesnt work out, i can always buy a new car when i come back.

my job pays me .50 a mile to and from home for work, so thats about 500-800 a month I get back for gas . I drive about 100 miles a day

since gas really only effect poor people greatly, and the same people that complain about the wage gap complain about us drilling off the california coast and alaska, areny they just contradicting themselves?
