the price of gas is supposedly going to fall over the next few years
however, they also said we should expect a failry large price jump before then.

Im interning for a group of environmental engineers who are all over the gas situation. I dont know where they got this info from, but they said that there should be retarded prices for a year or two more, then we should expect a fall.
Yea just like i said. George asks for more money?? where the hell do you think it comes from?? They will fall a lil bit and then the bastard will ask again.

I agree with this as well. There is a natural resource "bubble" right now. Unlike the past couple bubbles, regular people cannot profit from it.

i figured you were.
it was a very "faulkesque" comment //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
heh

the u.s has more oil supply than anywhere in the far east. and its already been drilled, filtered and is ready for use. only the us is waiting it out. supposably its stored somewhere in the Colorado mountains. i think the u.s has a plan to suffer now and use the oil from the east and when they run low, we have all the reserves and can tax and charge far more than they are currently charging us.

idk, just my crazy drunken thoughts lol

So...
High gas prices only effect poor people.
im not poor and it Affects me greatly. but then again i get bad mileage and drive 1.5 hr round trip to work and back

if gas truly goes that hgih, theyll have to raise min wage just to let people buy gas

and why thehell is congress so concerned with baseball and football practices being taped, and not with gas prices skyrocketing while oil execs laugh all teh way to the bank

Flip will correct me if i am wrong, but i think the latest spike is more about how worthless the dollar is... not limited availability..
i was going to say that. again im not sure either but i really think thats what its about.

not greed, just the value of our dollar is shit at this point (at least compared to what it was).

I've been wondering where that bubble will burst on oil prices. I think it will happen but who can guess where/when it will be...

They will not raise the min. wage.

Was in Ireland in April. Gas was 1.30 a liter or 4.92 Euro a gallon. Which is now about $7.75 a gallon US. So it is allready close to $8 a gallon in other parts of the world.
It's as high as $15 in some one African country(can't remember). And just .12 a gallon in Venezuela...there's about 10 countries who have gas below a dollar a gallon.
