She is definitely interested. I sort of went with it thinking she would eventually pull back and realize that this wasn't a smart move for her while she is applying for tenure, but she hasn't and it has progressed father than i had originally thought it would.Possibly. But I'm more interested in knowing if this teacher finds him dateable. Because he seems to think that the only issue is him dating a professor, where the real problem is a professor dating a student. While I assume it's not against any written rules (although it may be in an ethics code), I also am sure that it would be highly frowned upon by her associates. So my question is what makes him think he would be able to date a professor just because he decides it would be fine. Has she shown an unmistakable interest?
So now i am assessing the situation and deciding how to handle it.
She told me there are no rules against it, as long as it is consensual, but i cant imagine that the tenure committee would think it was a positive thing..
