most of the older people are extremely friendly....especially the ones who know what we did to win the Korean War. The younger Koreans are not so friendly....at least the idealistic anti-american types, altho many younger ones are also very welcoming. I had a korean girlfriend, so her and i plus some of my friends dated some of her friends so we traveled the country, went lots of places off the beaten path. Around military bases its all bars, *****s and shopping....get away from that scene and Korea has alot to offer. Its very helpful to have a native speaker as a friend or girlfriend

I am WAY more excited about super Tuesday than the super bowl .

I was stationed there for a year back in 2003 and i really enjoyed it. There are plenty of things to do and see while out there. The clubs are soething else and yes korean girls put out. The shopping is amazing over there too. Most of my money went to clothes and stuff for the family like purses and such. The night life real cool though and also the amusement parks are pretty cool too.
