our lack of world knowledge is coming out in this thread a little... or ignorance towards other countries.

Either way, I am not a genious either but I have a friend from South Korea who came here as a part of a exchange student-type program and he has stayed since then for college here. I am going to make an assumption and say that you would most likely be put into a wealthy area (or atleast not one in poverty) and it would be safe. My friend has told me that our views and opinions of Korea are not at all correct (and mostly based on our views of North Korea). And this is just his opinion, but he says the girls are better...

It's late here now, but tomorrow, I'll get him to give some info on the country since he is from there...

im gonna lmao if faulkton gets there and has to stay in the only place in korea that is exactly like his home town.
I'm certain that Seoul, with 10 million people, will be a lot different than a town of 700.

But i guess this isnt my home town.. but still i bet seoul isnt like seattle either.

Well i would only go to Korean University, which is like the #1 private school in Korea. They have a special dorm for international students, where english in the primary language. Its not like typical dorm either, it actually looks livable.

Just come up here. We have more Koreans shipped to my school than you'd know what to do with.
We get lots of Chinese and Korea students here too..

and you wouldn't have to know korean. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
I wont know Korean if i go to korea, but i don't care.. 30% of KU's classes are in english..

You can't compete with existing electric companies. They are granted monopolies and are regualted by the cities/towns/etc.
It is unlawful to build a competing electric company.
Yup thank the government for another backwards *** quagmire of regulations that screw up the market...
