Heres what you do.
If they piss you off... Get one of the plastic salt shakers..Spin a penny on the table. Slam salt shaker on penny and don't move it. If done correctly, you break the bottom of the salt shaker. When the shaker is moved, salt goes all over the table..

They will have to clean that up.

i might just insist that one of their employees fills my drink and gets my ketchup.

Or go in the opposite direction and grab the microphone and order yourself. I had a friend that used to that when hew was drunk. They would get pissed and he would act as though he had no idea what they were talking about.

I'm tired of volunteering my time when i am a customer at a fast food restaurant. I'm tired of having to fill my own drink and get my own ketchup. What the fuk?
When did we as customers become unpaid employees? How is it that they are tricking us into clearing our own tables?! From now on i refuse to clear my table in protest.

Its a soda and ketchup, if your eating a greasy burger and a big sugar soda, walking to get some of your own crap is probably a good thing, even if it only burns off one fry's worth of calories...

Seriously though this is just another example of how customer service will continue to suffer under the pressure of companies to keep their bottom line clean. Less work giving out drinks and ketchup = less employee overhead.

Its something small, but everything is going against customer sat and towards money savings at all levels of business.

No thats part of the insult. I have a 65 mile ride to a fast food restaurant and i don't appreciate being put to work when i get there. It takes a long time and is a lot of hard work to travel 65 miles in a covered wagon..

I do remember eating some delectable buffalo burgers while I was out there. What's funny was it was a mile away from this drive through zoo thing that had buffaloes.
