the left and the right are so far consumed with their agenda that they don't even see what the people of this country actually want. most people are in the middle on social issues, maybe leaning a little to the left or right on social issues (abortion, drugs, health care, etc.). the democrats pander to the far left fringe, environmentalists, aclu, moveon.org, anti-war democrats, etc. the republicans fold to big business, the evangelical base, anti-abortionists, etc. neither side really gives a crap what mainstream public wants. you and i aren't being represented regardless of whether we're democrat or republican. both sides are so far gone. america's in trouble. we're gonna lose it.

Not just want, NEED.

Thats the major problem. When a countries leaders are busy trying to fulfill their own selfish agendas, thats when then country starts to bleed a slow death.

Thats where this country is right now, bleeding. It WAS great, but they ****ed it up & when people that can see this point it out, what do the people of the Left do?... who knows? they're busy humping a tree for some stupid reason, go the Right and they're calling you Un-American for even thinking that way. I dont know which one pissed me off more.

we've been programmed since chidren. big city schools are increasingly bombarding our kids with agenda, mostly liberal. tv as well. even sitcoms. ever notice how the man is always the moron in almost all sitcoms?

Right again.

just to add to what i said. anyone notice the ridiculous amount of prescription drugs being advertised? why? we can't buy them w/o prescription. if we need it, a doctor would prescribe it. doctors have no idea what they're giving us.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

he did have a war to pay for. but yeah, haven't said anyone is, but you can't bash the republican party for this deficit. Bush ain't a good president, hes better at a spot with less authority. It ain't the partys fault, it does make the party look bad tho

Not trying to bash a party, I dont even like parties. Its just BS to split everyone up. That way when 1 thinks a certain way, the other will just say yeah, they're part of the X party & dismiss it when it might be something they should think about.

Bush isnt a good anything, hes like the 1st guy to get drunk at a party. Cool to have around just to laugh at, but not exactly the right person to put in charge of anything.

Give it time, you'll see things more and more clearly as time goes on. Either that, or you'll become one of the sheep. You're still in high school though, so have fun for now & dont worry about it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

This is our problem... everyone voices their opinions on the internet where it is very convenient. If people would go out and support there causes at rallies, protest and putting in the effort to find out whats real. There's much more to democracy than voting.

I see your point, and raise you a... no wait, you're right. Ill call.

Its quite funny though, even if/when a group of people come to a conclusion about a certain matter whats done about it?

Nothing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif it just ends there.

yeah... you would think as bad as things are people would be angry enough to do something... i don't want to have to hope things get worse just so people grow some backbone that have balls at the end... (a very patriarchal comment i know... haha)

iran is a real threat though. more to isreal than us, but a threat to us nevertheless. more of a threat than iraq was.
stop getting all your news from talk radio.

i had no choice but to get news from media for a long time. no other source available. seems tv is almost a waste of time for unbiased news anymore, but, taken with a grain of salt, they still have some use. i listen to alot of commentary on radio during the day. usually a local guy named peter boyles, then i flip between a conservative/libertarian (not ot be confused with liberal) named Mike Rosen and a non-political show about consumer problems and issues hosted by Tom Martino. i like Glenn Beck in the afternoon. if i'm still at work at 3, we have a political show hosted by a conservative and a democrat who debate different things live on air. our newspapers are useless politically here. everything is skewed to the left blatantly so i stick to the sports section.

They already are backing Rudy... I'm pretty sure that was the update I heard yesterday
uh no. Maybe that is what pat robinsons endorsement will mean, but you cant say that with any certainty yet. Dobson (focus on the family) has already said he would run a third party if Rudy gets the nomination. That cannot be discounted.

Try reading this, it emphasizes they current splits within the evangelical movement.

What exactly are you saying?

The government should exercise more control over the medical industry?

Advocating more regulation of the medical industry sure sounds like a pretty liberal policy to me.

You most certainly can blame the republican majority for the liberal bush spending. They did control federal spending from 1994 until 2006.

If anything, they need to keep their hands out of the medical industry. However with corporations like pfizer paying off congressmen through lobbyist, how can laws change? I still dont get how they allow lobbyist to control the congress, it just comes down to who pays the most $ gets the votes they want.

Sure it might be great for the corporations, but it doesnt mean its right.

All I know is the country was run better by Bill Clinton IMHO. I will be voting for Hillary when the time comes.
Then either of the Bush's? Yeah, im going to have to agree.

The # of casualties were far less & the economy was also doing pretty good. I dont care if he was taking bong hits and playing with his 'cigar'

I still dont know about Hillary though, unless ol Bill (or as Craig would say, "the naughty naughty boy" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif ) is going to be playing puppeteer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
