*sigh* You don't belong in SD. Oh, and by the way, I'll be passing through Faulkton on Oct. 20th for.....you guessed it.....opening pheasant season. You see, my grandparents live up that way, and they own some land, which is currently in the CRP program (you do know what that is right, and how it affects wildlife?). I plan on enjoying the hunt very much. You see, hunting has its purposes, regardless of whether or not you're too narrow minded to realize them. Not all hunters are bad. Sure we use guns and arrows, but I don't recall any person that was able to catch a deer while running barefoot or jumping 100 feet into the air after a pheasant. I actually agree with those that say killing through feedlots is worse, as the animals have no chance at getting away. Its people that overlook game limits set by the GF&P, hunt on private property without permission, poach game not in season, or throw their kills out wastefully that need stopped. If you're going to kill it, kill it for the right reasons. Hunting is a sport, I can see how one might classify it as such, but abusing wildlife like that when one could be shooting sporting clays is just absurd.
